I guess I had taken my post to its capacity because it didn't allow me to add any more pictures. Therefore, here a couple shots of the gila monsters we caught.

Cool post Jeff, it was very entertaining to read, it almost, just almost made me want to be a herper! How's China, did you make it there ok?!

Ryan says, "I caught a garter snake on Jessica's and my bike ride yesterday." I like the picture of the rattlesnake with its tongue out.

Loved your video footage we watched at my house of your herping outing. Seriously I am LOVING that you are keeping mom guessing and worried about where you are. This has become quite entertaining. Where in the world is Jeff Smith??? You should leave clues and have us to try to guess. Seriously, the sailboat and service on your phone...haha...you will have a great book to write someday! :)

Dude, forget Matt Lauer! Forget Waldo! Just tell us where in the world is Jeff Smith??? This is yo mama writing you, asking your whereabouts, hoping and praying you are safely eating rice in some Chinese hut, not catching too many poisonous herps, and having a fabulous time. You know I am jealous as heck. C'mon, let me get a visa and join you for 2 weeks! I am serious!!!!!!

Mom you wish you could join him, if only you knew where to go! So Jeff...is this true about the truck driver to LA?? Guess you weren't kidding about your crazy adventure...have a good time!

OMG! You rode with a truck driver from Vegas to LA and risked robbery and death! Son, this is not 1978. You have got to know that some people in this world are not good people!! Hey, we want a blog from China!! We want pics!! We want more info! We want a daily minute by minute travel log!!

Hey, thanks for all the comments guys! As you know by now, I'm safe in China, and Mom now has somewhat of an idea of my whereabouts. I'll have to say the truck driver story is a good one. As for the blog, I now can access my blog and others' blogs and update my own. I can add pictures but the process here is a bit annoying. When I have a down day, I'll do another good write-up.
